Photos of Baby Ryan

We have had a little technical difficulty trying to get these photos uploaded and sent out and we are a little short on sleep and free time, but finally a few photos...hopefully you are receiving them without a problem.and answers to some of the questions we have received...Ryan was born at 9:25 p.m. on June 14. He was 10 pounds and 21.75 inches at birth. I did go in to labor on our due date (June 8) and continued to have contractions 3-5 minutes apart, but progress was minimal. We went in on June 14 for induction...although we expected that Ryan was going to be a big healthy baby, we had no idea he was 10 pounds. The induction progressed very well throughout the day, but progress stalled at the very end and Ryan was in distress. We delivered by c-section and that's when we learned that he was not only very big, but his cord was wrapped around his neck twice. A c-section certainly wasn't part of "our plan", but we are very grateful to have a beautiful healthy baby boy! and we are having lots of fun getting to know him. He is a very happy peaceful baby and rather laid back like his Daddy...he would rather sleep than eat!We appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers! Hope you enjoy the photos...
