The mama and daddy Bluejays were trying to teach the little one to fly...he couldn't go very far. He spent the morning haning out in the back of the flower bed near the neighbors privacy fence, in my Mama's backyard. The adult birds guarded him closely and would fly down to bring him food. It was really sweet to watch. I enjoyed getting a close up look...one of those days that you wish you had a tripod with you and nothing but time on your hands...
